Q. What happens if I need to return or exchange a part?

A. AUTOQUIPMENT accepts returns of uninstalled, unused parts in their original packaging up to 30 days after purchase. Please contact us for a RMA to begin the process.

Q. Is there a restocking fee?

A. Yes. Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Q. Can I return a part for any reason?

Q. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

A. Unless the order was our error, the customer is responsible for the return shipping.

Q. What if the part is defective or damaged?

A. We’ll work with the part manufacturer to get you a replacement. Please contact us.

Q. How long do I have to return or exchange a part?

A. 30 days from date of purchase.

Q. How long will it take to receive my refund?

A. Once the return is received, the refund should process within 5-10 business days.

A. The return and refund process takes 5-10 business days.

Q. What if my return never arrives? Do I still get a refund?

A. No. We can’t refund a part we don’t receive, so we suggest you insure anything to send to us.

Q. What happens if you sent me the wrong part?

A. We’re sorry, we’ll take care of our mistake, and it won’t cost you anything other than some inconvenience. However, we can’t be responsible if we shipped you the part you ordered and it just didn’t fit. If your part doesn’t fit, you’ll want to follow the return process.

Q. What if I ordered the wrong part?

A. Please contact us for a return authorization number (RMA). The easiest way to avoid this problem is to use the year-make-model lookup or double check the fitment for your vehicle is listed within the part description page. You can also email us! We’re happy to help.

Q. What if the part is broken or damaged during shipping?

A. Please inspect your package for damage before accepting or signing for delivery. Refuse to accept the delivery if a driver attempts to give you a damaged package. If you refuse a damaged package or one was dropped off, take a photo of the box, then promptly call the shipping/courier company to start the claim process. Please also email us so we can begin the process of getting you a replacement.

Q. What if I need to return or exchange a part someone else purchased for me?

A. You can’t return a part you didn’t buy for a refund. However, we can usually do an exchange. Contact us to discuss.

Q. What if I need to make a warranty claim and return a part?

A. If you have a part that has a warranty problem, contact us so we can get you the return address. Be sure to review our warranty policy for more information.
